CAN YOU HELP US!! All 3 dogs need to be out of the County shelter by 6:00 PM Tomorrow, 10/5. Why? – Sadly, each one of these dogs is struggling in their kennel and the shelter euthanizes dogs not coping well. We ask all of you to PLEASE: 1. Share this post (this will save their lives). 2. Go to meet one of these good adoptable dogs. They don't deserve to die because a non-caring person dumped them in a shelter. Read about each dog below then call , OR go directly to the East Shelter (2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201) to save 1 of their lives. They are all good loving dogs. HARLEY: #A4739063 (Dog selective) I’m a 3-year-old, neutered, black/white Lab/Pitbull mix(50 lbs.). I came in as a stray 4 mos. ago, I'm a Wiggle butt!! I’m lovable, affectionate, like to be close, enjoy petting, and “sit” for treats and take them nicely. I’m energetic and playful but may get a bit jumpy/mouthy when excited. I walk better when harness is used. Children in the home are required to be 5+. WENDY: #A4748131 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 4-year-old, spayed, white/blue Bulldog American Bull Terrier mix (56.9 lbs.). I’m a stray that no one came to claim. I’m a very friendly, wiggly girl whose tail is always wagging. I love pets and being brushed, give “kisses”, and “sit” for treats and take them gently. I’m a moderate pull on-leash and well behaved around other dogs. I may be best suited for a home with older children. BRUCE WAYNE: #A4789004 (Dog Friendly) I’m an 8-year-old, un-neutered, black/white Lab /American Pit Bull Terrier mix (61 lbs.) I am SO loving, calm and kind! Sadly, I was dumped in the shelter parking lot..... I’ve been cooperative with staff and friendly, giving hand licks, and coming when called. I walk nicely on-leash, love pets, know “sit”, but I’m a little grabby with treats. Please don't let my last breathe be in this shelter!!. PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! They will benefit from a calm home, routine and structured environment. Unless noted above that there is an only dog requirement, it is possible that with a SLOW INTRODCTION, any could live with another dog.
