Job Overview We are looking for hardworking and responsible individuals to join our team at our beautiful tree farm on the northeast side of Kauai near Moloaa. This job is a hands-on position working to maintain the many functions of a tree farm. The work entails manual labor in an outdoor environment in all conditions. We are seeking persons with previous work experience in horticulture and tree maintenance who are also willing to learn under the supervision of our staff. The daily work functions will change day to day but range from specialized tree care to basic maintenance of a functioning tree farm. Responsibilities Operate mower Assist in weed whacking Light hand weeding Help with debris removal/ material hauling Aid in any Irrigation needs Mulching Fertilize trees and observe changes in tree health Grounds Maintenance Qualifications Familiarity with avocado, coconut, and citrus trees Ability to use basic hand tools and operate machinery Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must have Health Insurance to show on start date Must have access to a reliable vehicle that is licensed and insured on the state of HI (4x4 preferred) Must have at least 2 references from the last 2 years in order to apply to this position Preferred Qualifications: Experience in farming and land management is a plus Knowledge of tree health Mechanic Experience not necessary but helpful Contact Information Please respond to this ad with your email included If you have a resume please email a copy of it with at least 2 references If you fail to meet these qualifications and requirements please do not apply
