JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for removing snow on commercial sites on an “as needed” basis. Primary function is to remove snow using a shovel or snow blower on sidewalks and entryways. This position may also assist drivers with their snow removal responsibilities, including the spreading of calcium, salt, or sand as instructed. When called, you’d be responsible for: * Responding within 60 minutes to a centralized location, or job site during each snow event requiring treatment * Removing snow using a shovel or snow blower for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall * Filling out a time sheet as soon as you are finished working for that shift * Participating in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for employees and customers by adhering to company safety policies. * Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
