Winter Survival GamesDespite the cold and wet forces of winter, our resilient natural world continues to be full of activity and wonder. Here at the Environmental Learning Center, these seasonal changes provide a learning ground for the ways the plants, animals, and people get through winter. Hands-on exploration, crafts, and nature-based play will engage campers in understanding how our environment adapts to these ever-changing conditions. Each day we will learn about a different aspect of winter survival for our wildlife neighbors, from finding food to building shelter, and so much more! Dates and TimesMonday, December 19 - Thursday, December 22, 2022 9:00 am – 12:00 pm ~ Grades 1-2 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm ~ Grades 3-5Cost$175 (includes Eventbrite fees) Scholarship A limited number of scholarships are available to families with a demonstrated need. To receive a scholarship ($100 value) select a scholarship ticket. In the order form, you will be asked to identify the programs that qualify your family to receive the scholarship (e.g. SNAP benefits). Required Forms:In order for your child to enjoy Winter Camp with us, you'll need to fill out and return these forms to us. You can send them to us digitally before camp starts or you can bring them with you when you drop off your child on Monday, December 19, 2022.
