Join us at HAVEN for a new tradition honoring our beloved dead! A Dumb Supper is a Pagan tradition where you eat in complete and total silence, in memory and honor of those who have passed on and whom you have shared meals with. HAVEN will be decorated by candlelight and soft lighting, and a sacred space will be designed for this special evening. A light meal of a garden salad, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers will be served, along with red wine/juice, and cookies and coffee for dessert. But PLEASE feel free to bring a more hearty meal for yourself and the dead you are remembering if you would like. ***This is NOT a potluck type of event, each participant will be responsible for bringing food for themselves if you would like more than what is being offered.*** Perhaps your beloved dead had a favorite meal you would like to make to honor them as you eat? We will gather at the tables and enjoy nourishment in total and complete SILENCE for a full hour. Each ticket will give you one place setting at the table. Please bring a photo, or several of your Beloved Dead to place next to you or o our ancestor altar as we eat. After the hour, a blessing/prayer will be said and you will silently gather your belongings and leave, just as you came. In peace and sacred energy. Dumb Suppers can be powerful and emotional. Please know HAVEN is a safe space for you to feel, release and process during this most special time of the year when the veil is thin. Due to the nature of this activity, we are welcoming adults only for this evening, please.
