MadTree's head brewer has teamed up with Alcove's head chef for a culinary experience showcasing beer and food intertwined into one delicious morning.
MadTree's latest installment of their gin barrel aged ale Joon and Plumfounded will debuting this morning . The menu is as follows:
1st course
Chilled Root Vegetables with a mint and Tahini Sauce - Paired with Joon - gin barrel aged ale with ginger and juniper berries
2nd course
Confit Duck, Spaetzle, Fig Jam, and Corn Sabayon - Paired with Plumfounded - tart fruit ale with plum and butterfly flower tea
3rd course
Maple Glazed Shortrib, Butternut Squash Polenta, Mushrooms, Turnips, Pickled Mustard seeds, and Demi - Paired with 1873 - Lager
4th course
S'mores - Graham Cracker scones, marshmallow, and chocolate - Paired with S'more Gratitude- Stout
