The company has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. We are currently looking for hard workers with great attention to detail to help in our Warehouse in Alameda, CA. We offer friendly work conditions with starting wages at $18/hour + O/T. In addition to annual raises, benefits include: 401K with matching, medical/dental/vision insurance, 9 vacation days + 6 personal days, and plenty of seasonal overtime. Typical shifts are Monday through Thursday 7am to close (between 5-8pm) Over the course of the day you will help with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: -Putting away stock -Pulling orders from the shelves -Building skids to be loaded on trucks -Clearing out empty boxes and other trash -Double checking orders for accuracy and recording weights -Performing cycle counts of general inventory -Packing orders for Federal Express The position has some physical requirements -You on your feet most of the day. -You must be able to lift and bend repeatedly for stock and picking orders -Most cheeses weigh 5-20lbs. However you will be required to lift up to 80lbs on occasion. Health+Vision+Dental are available after 90 days 401K with 4% Matching is available after 1 year.
