Beacon Climate Action Now presents the Taproots Fall Festival, a free community event at The Yard. Join us on Saturday, October 15 from 1pm-4pm for a fun-filled afternoon with activities for all ages: Free snacks, s'mores, hot apple cider, and coffee! Live music from local musicians featuring Lydia Adams Davis, Glenn Echo, Patrick Metzger, and Will Stratton! Storytelling for children! Lawn games, trivia with prizes, and more! Bring a can of food for the Beacon Community Fridge to get a raffle ticket - the more cans you bring, the more chances to win prizes from local Beacon businesses. We'll have tables set up for anyone who wants to chat with experts about retrofitting your home to reduce energy use or to find out more about local and state climate bills. We hope to see you at The Yard for this free, fun-filled afternoon with our community! ABOUT BEACON CLIMATE ACTION NOW (BCAN) Beacon Climate Action Now is a fast growing group of constituents, starting in Beacon and expanding into Dutchess County and the broader Hudson Valley.
