Bit of Whimsy Cakes, LLC is excited to sponsor the Holiday Bake-Off & Cake Decorating Competition again for the 2022 Holiday Market at Madison Central! The Holiday Market will take place on Saturday, November 5th from 8am - 4pm. Entries may be dropped off between 8am-10am. Judging will start at 10:30am. Awards will be given out at 3:30pm. For this year's bake-off, we want to see your "blue ribbon" best cakes/cupcakes, cookies/bars & pies. Each entry is only $15. *Entries MUST NOT require refrigeration. The cake decorating competition features 2 themes this year - My Favorite Holiday (choose anything you like, but Thanksgiving & Christmas are at the top of our list!) and Is That a Cake? - Realistic Cakes (can you fool us?). Each entry is only $25. Please choose the appropriate category when signing up: Professional Division - anyone who sells baked goods to the public is considered a professionalAmateur Division - for anyone ages 14+ that does not sell baked goods to the publicKids Division - ages 5-13*Cakes may be any size and flavor. Each cake must include a card with the theme and flavors listed. While some inedible items are allowed (supports), we expect the majority of all decorations should be edible. Inedible decorations should be less than 10% of the total design. Trophies & prize baskets will be awards to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category. Proceeds will benefit Madison Central Project Graduation 2023. No refunds or exchanges.
