This seminar is being sponsored by the student club Bridges International in room 1018 Throckmorton Hall. Our guest speaker is Dr. George Paul a graduate of Kansas State University with a PhD in Agronomy. Dr. Paul will be sharing with us from his personal experience and will be addressing these three questions: 1. What kind of priorities was in your mind as you looked for a job? What stresses came your way? 2. What all helped you along the way? What role did faith play? 3. How do you find satisfaction in your day to day life? We will begin at 11:30am and will start with a light boxed lunch provided by Goodcents restaurant. You must complete this registration and tell us which kind of sandwich you prefer: Vegetarian, Turkey or Ham. Dr. Paul will present for awhile and then there will be a short time for Q & A. Here is his full bio: George Paul is a Senior Agronomist working for an engineering consulting firm in Sacramento, California. George came to Kansas State University, in August 2009, accompanied by his wife Amy, to pursue his Ph.D. in Agronomy. Soon after completing his Ph. D. in 2013, he worked briefly for Texas A&M University before moving to California in 2015. His work involves field measurements and numerical modeling of soil, plant, and hydrologic processes to mitigate environmental impacts. God has blessed George and Amy with two kids, Joel (12years) and Michelle (8years). George was born and raised in a city named Prayagraj, in the State of Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. This is a Historic town known for its largest religious gathering on earth where 120 million Hindu devotees gather to take bath in the Ganges. George will be sharing his experience of his walk the in faith and how that has helped him navigate the different phases of life.
