From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me - Holy is His name” - Luke 1:46-49. How beautiful is Mary's response to the Lord's calling to honor and serve Him? She had the cards stacked against her; a teenager, a woman, a virgin set to marry Joseph, and a sinner. Additionally, by accepting the Lord's will for her to become pregnant by the Holy Spirit, she knew she would be ridiculed by her community and potentially no longer be betrothed to Joseph, and yet she exclaimed "YES! " Mary is a wonderful biblical example of how we are to follow God's truth and will for our lives despite what the world may desire our response to be. Like Mary, everyday we need to hand our lives over to the Lord and pack deep in our hearts the truth of “blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!” Please join us for a special "Mary Christmas" ladies brunch spending time in fun and fellowship while we unravel the many wonderful attributes of Mary!
