Help set up for our booth space at the New York Comic Con. Total of about 6 hours: Wednesday, October 5th from 1:30 pm-8 pm. Pay is $30/hour tax free paid in cash at end of shift + 1 free badge for Free Entry all 4 days during the Comic Con from Oct 6th-9th. Must be over the age of 25 (Uhaul's rule not ours) & have a valid Driver's License - insurance is not needed. Duties include: -Driving a 10' Uhaul Box truck for a total of about 15 miles. -Help load and unload boxes into the Uhaul and to our event space/booth in the NY Convention Center. -Helping us set up our booth space. -Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. When applying, please answer the following questions: 1. Have you ever driven a box truck before? If so are you comfortable driving a box truck? 2. Do you have a valid physical driver's license? If hired, we will require you to send proof with a photo of your license. 3. Are you 25 years or older in age? 4. Have you ever attended a Comic Con before? We will meet at "Uhaul of Chelsea" located at 536 W 23rd St, Manhattan, NY 10011 at 1:30 pm, drive to a nearby Fed Ex facility where we will load the boxes into the Uhaul, then drive and unload the Uhaul to the Javitz Convention Center and help set up our booth area. We anticipate being done between 7-8 pm.
