The time for creepy crawlies is upon us and the serpent is one of the most potent examples of these creatures that witchcraft has to offer. Symbolism of the serpent is at the center of many myths and traditions and its influence in the practice of witchcraft is extremely important. We will talk about the fear and power that these animals draw out of the human psyche in this class. Our discussion will cover its role in stories, relations to divine beings, and magical properties that the serpent holds. Throughout our discussions, we will be working many exercises and magical acts so that you can get a hands-on feel for the power that this creature holds.
