Art in the Bosque This event is FREE but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED due to limited supplies. In-Person Event at Rio Bosque Wetlands Park, Socorro, Texas. Experience the beauty of our local wetlands by joining us for a nature walk, led by Rio Bosque Program Coordinator and Manager John Sproul, followed by an art painting session led by artist, Mayra Salinas. We'll meet at the Visitor Center at Rio Bosque, you will receive a link with directions upon registration. Together we will hike the Rio Bosque trails for about 1 hour. The trails are ground level, easy to moderate. We will then break for a paint session. Mayra will provide some instruction on how to capture the wetland scenery with your medium of choice and then you can explore your creativity on your own. During the paint session we will be in a shaded area, which has tables and benches.
