I am working on starting an all-ages indoor battery percussion practice group in NYC. To my knowledge, nothing like this exists yet. This will be a DCI/WGI competition-level (as far as technique, repertoire, skill) battery percussion practice group. Even though we aren't competing, the dream is for this to be a space to grow as a team through practice. The goal is simple: to get a group of people together who are passionate about battery percussion and practice together for a few hours a week. No end game (for now)... just to play.
