There are few things that bring us together like sharing a meal. Food crosses all borders- it nourishes us all the same. We believe cuisine acts as a bridge to experience culture in one of the most fundamental and intimate ways. Traditions passed down through generations connect us all. At the intersection of Persian and Southern culture we have found many similarities. At the center of them being an overwhelming emphasis on hospitality. At Torshi each table is served family style in groups of 4 with two types of Persian Stew, Rice w/ Tahdig (crispy rice), Mast-o-Khiar (cucumber and yogurt) , Salad Shirazi (tomato, cucumber, and onion), & Pita with fresh herbs and Persian pickles. Traditional Persian tea will served after the meal. All of the dishes are vegetarian. We can't wait to host you.
