Orlove by Night Presents: MAJOR LEAGUE DJZ Banele and Bandile Mbere, also popularly known as Major League Djz, are twin brothers who shot to fame through their versatile & unique DJ style. The rapidly rising stars are the ultimate package of young entrepreneurs and entertainers. Major League have over the past few years given music fans a reason to celebrate South African music through their version of New Age Kwaito with songs such as Slyza Tsotsi, Zulu Girls, Do Better to Amapiano, launching some of the biggest songs such as Le Plane iLendile, Amanikiniki, Dinaledi, Bakwa Lah. While their talent and fashion sense launched them above their peers, their passion for “Feeding the culture” and taking Piano to the world remain their most remarkable and differentiating quality. Due to the pandemic the duo launched “Balcony Mix” a platform on youtube that has featured international acts Artists Major Lazer and home grown talent Dbn gogo, Kabza de small, Maphorisa and Vigro deep. Balcony mix caltoported the amapiano genre, giving a face to the sound and crossing over to a more international audience. They have since headlined shows in Africa, United Kingdom and their most recent debut at Coachella in the USA. Their last project titled Outside featured NSG,Darkovibes, Zinoleesky, Gyakie to name a few. The duo have also signed to Atlantic Records. As respected leaders of the Culture in the dance music scene and entertainment industry, they continue to spearhead the evolution of dance music globally by making people from across the world dance to the eclectic sound of the Amapiano.
