Win McNamee, a 1985 graduate shared the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography with a group of Getty Images photographers for “comprehensive and consistently riveting photos of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.” Josh Dawsey, a 2012 graduate shared the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service as part of a team of journalists for The Washington Post that delivered a “compellingly told and vividly presented account of the assault on Washington.” *Sponsored by the Buchheit Family Lectures in conjunction with the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
