Harvest the fruits of summer and build your own herbal apothecary! Come for a seasonal farm tour and you-pick herb harvest event. Fresh Medicinal Herbs are calling out to you ~ they can be dried for tea or extracted into fresh tincture or vinegar extracts, it's up to your imagination. *A certified Herbalist will be in attendance for medicine making tips and recommendations. Available herbs to harvest, include: Roselle hibiscus, Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers, Tulsi (Holy Basil), Lemon Grass, Skullcap, and more! (After you sign-up, I recommend doing a brief Internet/book search of the plants listed above to check out their long list of medicinal powers and to better prepare yourself for the bounty ahead.) The harvest package is $25 per person wishing to harvest. This package provides two paper bags for you to fill up with herbs. You can mix and match any in season herb you gravitate towards. (Not all herbs at the farm are available for harvest at this time.) If you wish to purchase another bag to fill, it is an additional $10 per bag. This harvest offers you a unique experience to create an intuitive formula. A certified Herbalist will show you around the farm, talk about sustainable/organic agriculture and what crops thrive in the Florida summer sun, and coach on the best harvesting and medicine making techniques. A brief herbal energetic profile of the available herbs will be provided as well! Spouses/friends who don't wish to harvest their own herbal bounty are welcome and don't need to purchase a harvest ticket.Donations for the tour is encouraged.Prior Sign-Up is required, parking is limited.Parking spots for harvest participants will be prioritized over tour-only visitors. An email will be sent out to confirm your attendance and provide you with the address. What to bring for the best farm experience: -Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED (long socks recommended) -Hat -Bug repellent -Water - Sissors or hand pruners - Picnic blankets or camping chairs Adult-Only event.
