Happy Spooky Season! This workshop covers the very basics of MIG welding, no experience is needed! Just bring a willingness to learn and dress yourself in pants with no holes or tears, close-toed shoes, and hair pulled back if it's on the longer side. All other PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided to you. When you arrive at the Vern Lewis facility feel free to park around back or on the east side of the lot. The welding lab is on the south side of the building and you can enter back there. We'll cover the basics of the welding machine, welding technique, and safety. The workshop provides scrap metal to practice and then a "take-home project" you can build and keep.
