With the help of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), we'll have our first See Once, Do Once event of the semester!
The topic: coding.
Coding, or computer programming, is the process of performing a particular computation, usually by designing and building an executable computer program. It's the reason why the internet is filled with all of our favorite apps and services.
This workshop will be led by Jack Norris, the president of ACM, and he will give a crash course for python programming, including variables, loops, and functions/methods.
If you're even a little bit interested in computer programming or have an idea that requires basic knowledge of programming, I highly encourage you to participate.
