Hello Friends! We are delighted to announce our Annual Scottish St. Andrew's Day Whisky Tasting with Bill Mullen. We Scots are always looking for an excuse for a celebration and this time we honor Scotland's Patron Saint, St. Andrew. Bill Mullen is our favorite Scottish songwriter and storyteller, who will once again bring his talents and knowledge of Scotch whisky by presenting and leading the sing along. We will also have a demonstration of Highland dancing and bagpipes! It promises to be a fun night. We begin the night with a toast, and the following whisky tastings will be accompanied with traditional Scottish Food, a Scotch meat pie and chips (french fries). We also will have a vegetarian option of Mac 'n Cheese pie and chips. (Remember to indicate your choice when purchasing a ticket. Supply will be limited) The Scottish American Society of Dunedin welcomes everyone. If you'd like to come and don't drink whisky, we have a ticket just for you - you can choose a beer or wine only ticket. We also offer a Designated Driver ticket for those who love the atmosphere of these great nights, you can enjoy non-alcoholic beverages all night and includes the food and entertainment. Yes, there is something for everyone! Come along Florida casual (!) or wear anything with tartan and/or your favorite Scottish kilt. Kilts may get special attention as it is St Andrew's Night! Our Whisky Tastings are not JUST about the Whisky - they are about the people who attend, and we can't wait to welcome you once again to the Scottish Cultural Center. Remember, you don't need to be Scottish to join us, we love to meet new people! Slainte! All tickets include day membership to the Scottish American Society of Dunedin.
