Actually, it does matter, very much, what happened in 2020 as far as election fraud, even though it's quite true that it's over and even if (not "when") things were found out, there's really nothing that could be done to correct the outcome. Secure elections that accurately represent the actual vote are essential to our process (just as also is equal access to voting for all). So whether or not there was fraud that could have affected the outcome is a critical question for everyone, even if nothing can be done to undo the effect of past fraud. It's likewise extremely important that people feel they can trust and jave confidence that the system works as it's supposed to, as your own continuing lack of trust and confidence, and as the events of January 6, clearly demonstrate. Fortunately that repeated question of whether or not there was fraud has for most people already been clearly answered. What has happened is that a lot of fraud was alleged, and all those allegations were investigated, and none were found to be accurate. Some were bona fide misunderstandings, but very unfortunately very many of the allegations of fraud were themselves fraudulent, purpose-made to sow confusion, create distrust and erode confidence, in preparation for a non-elected takeover. Yes, many states have adjusted their voting laws to address the *suspicion* of fraud (not "the fraud" - it's already been very clearly established there was none that could have even slightly influenced the outcome) from 2020. Unfortunately many of those laws actually serve to make it more difficult to exercise their right to vote, rather than actually precluding actual fraud, but, whatever - this likely won't have a significant impact on the outcomes. The people impacted have wised up to such tactics, which don't have the power they once did. The 2020 elections were already extremely closely watched (as really have been all elections). In fact, it is exactly because of that very close watching that we know that there was no meaningful fraud. And the 2022 elections and beyond being more closely watched can only be a good thing, especially if it eliminates the distrust and anxiety of people like yourself. But that won't solve or prevent any actual problem, because the system and processes already work extremely well, so well that there *is* not a problem to solve. If your house is already impregnably secure with a steel door and 3 locks and multiple alarm systems, adding more locks isn't really going to make you any more secure than you actually are already. But be my guest, knock yourself out. It's worth it if it restores the trust, confidence and and feeling of security that DT worked so hard and so successfully to undermine and destroy.
