Apalachicola Pinstripe Kingsnake

Description

I have for sale my "oops" purchase Meansi Kingsnake. These snakes are native to the northern region/inland ranges of Northern Florida....however when I bought him, I was wrongly informed that he was a Brooks king (native of South Florida), and was going to breed him to my female Brooks Kingsnake. Now that I know that I can't breed them due to mix breeding issues (and risk of him eating my beloved female because hello, kingsnakes eat anything that is in front of them except for when they're breeding...and I don't want to risk that whatsoever!), I need to re-home him. I'm looking for a $200 re-home fee, without enclosure, as his current enclosure is already accounted for. About Cedric: Cedric (aka C-4) is an extremely shy, yet inoffensive kingsnake, but is very aggressive when feeding, which is typical of all kingsnakes by trade. He is an eager feeder and will never decline a frozen-thawed or live jumbo mouse, and would prefer to eat until he explodes than anything else lol. Otherwise, he is nearly always in hide mode. If picked up, he will tail buzz, and will attempt to musk and get away, but once calmed down is generally easy going. He will nip if wary fingers get too close to his pointy end, so I wouldn't recommend him around children or fearful adults. Cedric is a great pet to own, but due to his shyness and difficulty to corral when first handled, I would rather sell him to a person who has more experience than a beginner to purchase him. Not to say that he could be tamed, but it would take a bit of time, and that's something I really don't have at this junction of my life. If you have any questions, or would like to see him in person, please respond to the ad and we'll talk further.
