We are looking for an independent worker who is willing to take on multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will have basic maintenance and repair abilities, janitorial experience, able to lift 50 lbs, ability to work quickly and thoroughly with a keen eye for detail. Hours are Monday 12:30-4:30PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 5pm and one weekend day (4 hours). Responsibilities: • Perform various maintenance and repairs at common facilities and property. • Perform regular cleaning duties of common facilities and property. • Perform set up and tear down for special events. • Ensure buildings and property are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and cleaning daily. Sweep, polish and mop floors and vacuum carpets. Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper goods). Clean mirrors and windows. • Maintain an organized and stocked supply room. • Maintain outer premises by watering plants, cleaning entrance and exit areas, sweeping, picking up debris, keeping dumpster areas clean, landscaping tasks (digging, planting, trimming), shoveling and ice melt application, irrigation repairs, power washing. • Report required repairs needed as well as major damages and oversee repairs • Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm system when required Skills: • Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role • Familiarity with basic maintenance, repair and handyman practices • Attention to detail and conscientiousness • Good physical condition and strength Job Type: Full-time $20.00 per hour Work Location: One location
