Description

It is with immense sadness that I need to rehome the stray cat that after 2 years, finally moved into my house. Unfortunately, try as I might, my 11 year old cat Willow will not accept him and initiates terrible cat fights. Mr. Jones has turned out to be the best cat I have ever had. He is a total love-bug, incredibly good-natured, affectionate and loves to be around me. To my surprise, if Mr. Jones could, he would stay indoors with me all the time. He uses a litter box, uses a scratching post or those corrugated cardboard strips- never scratches furniture. He loves catnip and is starting to get the hang of cat toys. His purr is loud and wonderful and he loves to be petted, scratched and brushed. Mr. Jones is a big boy - 18 lbs. and about 3 years old. He has been neutered and vet-checked and is now up to date with his shots. Mr. Jones is timid at first around new people but warms up slowly but surely. It will be a big transition as he is attached to me but with patience and love, you will become his new person. It's heartbreaking for me to give him up but this is no life for either of them and they both deserve to have a good life where they each feel safe. Mr. Jones comes with his two beds, some toys, a big bag of high quality cat food, cans of his favorite wet food and a bag of the catnip he loves. It would be best for him to be the only cat. Contact me if you have any questions, especially if you think you might have room in your life and heart for Mr. Jones. Sylvia
