I played in bands when I was in high school and I've been missing working on music with other people since I moved back here. I don't really care about playing gigs, I just want to have fun playing covers. I'm 27 and nonbinary, and would prefer people around my age :) Some bands/artists we could maybe cover: Wolf Alice St. Vincent The Stooges Cocteau Twins Rina Sawayama Broadcast Kicking Giant Nirvana Mitski Sharon Van Etten Prince Soundgarden Kate Bush Yoko Ono Caroline Polachek Strawberry Switchblade Yeule My Chemical Romance (I'm dead serious, but also... we don't have to) Ezra Furman Fiona Apple Panda Bear Arthur Russel Queen Mazzy Star Sasami billie eilish Cherry Glazerr The Strokes Beabadoobee Boris idk, it feels lame to list all these bands but I'm open to literally anything. Introduce me to stuff you want to play! I used to sing jazz but I'm more interested in pop/rock vocals, and I can play piano, though I'm open to learning guitar. Ideally you play drums or bass! I'd love to meet and chat first and see if we click and then try to jam. I know I can't be the only person kind of wanting to be in a band and not knowing where to start :)))
