!!!! SETCA Train Show on Saturday October 8th during the Selma RR Days!!!! The Southeastern Division of the Train Collectors Association will be hosting a train show on Saturday October 8th in the American Legion Post 141, Selma NC 27576. Although our meet is only on Saturday, from 9 to 3, the 47th Annual Selma Railroad Days Festival will run from October 7-9, 2022, in Downtown Selma, NC. This unique Rail Fan Event usually draws over 10,000 people and has quite a few activities through the course of the weekend. It's an excellent festival that allows Rail Fans of all ages to see, learn and celebrate the history of the railway and importance to the Town of Selma. There will be over 75 vendors (not part of the TCA show) on Raiford street over the weekend so Railfans can shop till they drop. Plenty of food will be available and you can shed some of that newly found weight off with the free live entertainment all three days! If you find yourself “danced out” you must visit the beautiful Selma Union Depot train station and museum. It is located at 500 East Railroad Street. On the way, make sure to stop by and visit our good friends from the North Raleigh Model RR Club. They will be operating their NTRAK layouts in the Selma Civic Center on 300 N. Webb St. All in all, a high sided hopper full of fun that we hope you and your family can enjoy with us.
