Description
I know it's a long shot, but sometime between noon-2:15pm a fold of $129 of proper-faced bills fell out of my pocket as I walked the East Surry Rd Access Trail with three small dogs. I passed one couple with two young larger dogs, presumably belonging to the white Jeep SUV with a license plate starting with 500.
When I realized the cash had fallen out of my pocket 40 minutes had already gone by. I returned to retrace my steps with no luck, and my blue Honda CRV with VT plates was the only car at the trailhead.
I realize stumbling upon such a stash of money in the woods can seem like a gift from the forest, but it leaves me in a bit of a lurch. I am a fool for putting that cash in my pocket, but the only thing I can do now is hope for the best and learn to be smarter moving forward. I'll leave a written note at the trailhead tomorrow hoping to find the finder.
If you found my mistake, please find it in your heart to return it to me.
Thank you so, so much
