Hello, My name is Simran and I'm a dental hygiene student at Concorde Career College looking for volunteer patients who have not had a dental cleaning in a while and have moderate to heavy build-up and tartar under gums. Cleaning is done at a college under the supervision of hygienists and Dentist. The initial appointment consists of: clinical exam, medical history, oral cancer screening, and x-rays. This will be assessed by the dentist on duty. Regular cleanings, deep cleanings and polish for stain removal will be performed depending on the treatment needed. The initial visit takes about 2.5 hours. Depending on the type of cleaning multiple appointments may be needed. It's usually a minimum of 2 to 3 visits. Our new term starts Sept 19th - Nov 18th. We can schedule patients on Tuesdays at 7:30am or 10:45am, Thursdays 2pm or 5:15 pm and every other Friday starting on the 23rd at 9am or 1pm. Please call or text to set up appointment.
