•A suburban style garage sale in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Sellers are block residents, neighbors and friends of the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. We have over 70 neighbors filling over 90 spaces selling almost everything. An ideal place to find great deals on household goods, furniture, clothes, books, jewelry, collectibles, paintings, hand crafted items and many things old and new. The 46th Annual Garage Sale runs from 9 am to 5 pm - October 8 - on West 44th Street between 9 & 10th Avenues. This sale benefits the W44 Better Block Assn./Friends of Pier 84. Monies raised are used for the care of the block's street trees and the Pier 84 Community Garden. It enables Block Assn. to provide financial donations to community nonprofits such as to the Elias Howe - PS 51 - School and their music program; and the local PAL and the Rauschenbusch Metro Baptist Church Food Pantry, among other programs.
