Rehoming Blue Heeler to Loving Home

Description

Hey friends. We are in need of getting this beautiful Blue Heeler a new home. She is a smart, loyal, loving animal who is sadly deaf but has been easily trainable with hand motions. In fact, the deafness has not been a major issue with us other then not being able to recall her with a vocal command. Unfortunately for us, we are needing to move elsewhere where dogs are not allowed. This is a breed that needs to be consistently in motion so she is perfect for someone who loves long walks or jogs, or simply have a backyard for her to zoom back and forth in. There will be a rehoming fee of $200. This will include a large kennel, the leash w/dogbag holder, a deshedding brush, and whatever food remains (about 15lbs of Authority dog food). She has all her shots and is chipped but has NOT been spayed yet. Covid made that a little tough to schedule but just a heads up. Quick things about her: -Her name is Sombra (Spanish for shade). If you'd like to provide a different name then technically it's fine as she can't hear the name anyway! -She is 2 years young and very healthy. However she is NOT used to eating people food so please no table scraps! -She's clever and obeys hand motions. She is able to wait for her food until you give the hand motion to eat (pointing at the food). -She is very wary of other animals from the get go and will bark, but will NEVER be violent as far as I've seen. She will warm up to other animals over time (we have a cat that she loves playing with). -This is a breed that was bred to be a work animal, so she is 30lbs of pure muscle and way stronger than she looks. She is very rough and clumsy although she doesn't mean to be. -And lastly she is very friendly with everyone and overall an amazing dog, but will need to be consistently stimulated with exercise or attention to avoid being destructive. If you're a hiker or love long walks, then she is an absolute dream to have with you. E-mail or text me if interested! I will be able to drop everything off with the dog at any public location or neighborhood. Please make sure to give this pup all the love she deserves!
