We are BREAKS, indie rocknroll band from North Hollywood. Had to part ways with our drummer due to scheduling issues. We are looking for a drummer who is available to rehearse a 1-2x times a week and gig a couple times a month. We are getting ready to release our first few singles / videos in the next 2-3 months. Must be willing to learn the songs we already have in the set and be stoked to write some new ones. We just played the Viper room to a packed house, so this train is rollin - looking for a pro with good meter and the confidence to carry the band. Good attitude a must. Music Influences are the Doors, the Smiths, the Ramones, Clash, Misfits, Strokes, Nirvana, Oasis. We are looking for a hard hitter who plays to the songs. Dave Grohl, Kevin Parker, Mike Joyce, Tommy Ramone and Fab Moretti are some of our fave drummers. Please be willing to make this band a priority. If you are already in 3 bands, we arent the band for you. We are looking for a committed player who will fly our flag and work as hard as we do. Prefer someone in their 30s or older so theres some common ground, but not overly concerned about that.
