We are a small metal distributor located in Kent, WA and are unique within our industry. Our attention to service and the diversity of our customer base is the key ingredient to our success and longevity in this business. This position would involve: - Shearing and sawing a variety of metal profiles. - Accurately reading cut sheets to ensure correct material is selected and processed. - Safe utilization of a forklift within a warehouse environment. - Adherence to all warehouse safety guidelines. - Maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. - Polite and helpful interactions with customers. Position Qualifications: - Must be self-motivated and able to work successfully with minimal supervision. - Able to manage yourself in a fast paced, often noisy, environment. - Must be comfortable with the regular use of measuring devices: tape measures, calipers, etc. - Good communication skills. - Basic math skills. - Knowledge about raw metal products is desirable but not a necessity - Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs. - Get along well with customers and staff; we want good natured folks!
