Description

We are a custom crating, packaging, and shipping company looking for a hardworking and reliable individual who will be responsible for: • Picking up and loading customer items onto the truck and bringing back to our warehouse for crating and shipping o Customer items may range in size from large and heavy (furniture, machinery, equipment) to small and fragile (artwork, sculptures) o The Driver/Loader must use extreme care when loading customer items, securing items in the truck, and when unloading customer items • Unloading the truck once back at the warehouse and weighing and measuring all items once unloaded • Complete Intake Form for each pick up with accurate item descriptions, weights, and measurements • Delivery of fabricated crates • Navigating the valley for pickup and delivery locations • Keeping accurate pickup and delivery records • Completing daily truck inspection and reporting any concerns, repairs, etc. • Following all safety procedures for lifting, loading, and driving • Effectively communicating with customers and presenting a positive image of the company to our customers and general public. Requirements: • Prefer experience loading and/or unloading product from trucks • Prefer customer service experience • Prefer experience driving 24-foot box truck, no CDL required • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs • Must be a team player with the ability to work in fast paced environment – you will be working with a Lead Driver • Knowledge of the valley is helpful • Must be reliable and punctual • Must have excellent communication skills • Must be able to take direction and accept feedback • Must possess a valid Driver’s license and have a clean driving record Pay and Benefits: • Pay = $20.00/hr • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits after 30 days of employment – portion paid by employer • Paid holidays – eligible after 90 days employment • Paid sick time – eligible after 90 days employment • One-week paid vacation – eligible after 1 year of service • Retirement plan with company match – eligible after 90 days employment • Room for advancement and growth with the company • Hours: Full-time, shift is Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm If interested, please submit a resume.
