Do you have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic? When it comes to cleanliness, do you take initiative? We are looking to hire and train an individual who strives to finish each task in a professional way to become a Glass Restoration Technician. We clean and polish glass surfaces that have been stained or etched back to new or near new condition, restoring its original luster and beauty. Using a variety of polishing equipment and products, these professionals have good judgment for detail and cleanliness. A successful background in automotive detailing is a BIG PLUS+. We are willing to train the right person to work part time (initially), as an Independent Contractor (no taxes withheld). Responsibilities: • Cleaning and polishing of windows, glass shower enclosures, glass balustrades etc. • Applying a special product that preserves and protects the restored surfaces • Ability to be trained on the process and then work independently Qualifications: • Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors - all days of the week as needed (primarily Mon - Fri) • Ability to use power tools while working standing, sitting, on a ladder and even on a rooftop at times • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation to get to job sites on Maui and a clean driving record • Always, always - always be punctual and reliable • Some successful experience in automotive detailing would be a BIG PLUS+ • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and the initiative to make it PERFECT! • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • $20/hr - $30/hr ~ (Exact compensation based on skills and experience level)
