We run and operate 6 car wash businesses across Bergen County. We are looking for a car wash detail manager to manage our detail department at one of our locations, Jax Car Wash in Maywood New Jersey. Jax Car Wash is a full service car wash that offers oil changes and detail services. Each department, except detail has their own manager and assistant manager and are overseen by the reginal manager. The detail manager position is full-time with a $60,000 a year salary, 2 weeks of paid vacation a year, and an option for a 401K plan. Your schedule will be working 5 days a week with 2 days off. You will be working with the car wash manager and assistant manager to make sure the business is operating smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Scheduling your crew to make sure you have enough people working each day. This also involves being aware when to cut crew when necessary. Overseeing that your crew is always in company uniform when working (provided by the company). Overseeing training of new and existing crew members to make sure they can perform the services we provide. Managing all tools and chemicals needed for services provided, making sure you have all available tools in working order to get the job done. Scheduling customer appointments. Overseeing that the crew performs quality services and addressing any customer satisfaction concerns. Overseeing an increase in business performance and increase in customer base. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of auto detailing experience, can complete a full detail in no more than 4 hours, can drive automatic and manual transmissions, has strong customer service skills, and is detail oriented.
