Compensated Online Research in Long-Term Addiction Recovery

Hello! We are seeking participants for an ongoing, compensated online study, Long-Term Study of Recovery (LTSR). The study has been approved by Institutional Review Board at Virginia Tech (IRB# 21-697). You are eligible to screen if you are: (1) a US resident; (2) 18 or older; (3) ever quit/cut down substance use (e.g., drinking alcohol); (4) an International Quit & Recovery Registry (IQRR) registrant (free to join). The goal of the study is to understand the process of recovery so that we can better support people on that journey. If eligible to participate, you can earn up to $1,280 over 3 years by joining the IQRR and completing a series of online assessments. You will take an online assessment (less than 1.5 hours each) every 3 months for 3 years and earn $40-$140 per assessment completion with an additional bonus of up to $75 per year. * This is not a treatment study. * Birthdate and SSN are required for payment processing.
