PLEASE HELP-- Our sweet pup was hit by a car in our apartment complex tonight and took off running. My boyfriend had him out to go potty and he saw me park and came running towards me and was unfortunately hit by a car and took off running. We live in Virginia Beach in Diamond Springs apartments off of Diamond Springs Road and Shore Drive. Anyone who lives in the area, please keep your eyes peeled for a black and white Pitbull mix, approximately 65lbs. His name is Wren and will also answer to Bubs. He's the sweetest baby and has never been the type to run away. My fear is that he's severely hurt and has run to hide for that reason. We have been looking for him on foot for the last 2.5 hours and will continue doing so throughout the night, any sort of help is greatly appreciated. Wren is wearing a black training collar with a florescent green stripe though the middle. We typically have a second collar with our names, numbers, license, etc. but did not in this case since he was just outside to go potty. I tried to call the non-emergency line for any sort of help from animal control and unfortunately they stated that there was nothing that they could do.
