Yoga on High is a monthly Yoga and social experience happening the first Sunday of each month at Baxter’s Speakeasy in downtown Akron’s Historic Arts District. Class size limited to 15 students per session to insure personalized focus from Yoga Instructor & Reiki master Raeni. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle and experience Baxter’s Speakeasy Sunday libations menu post class. One cocktail, mocktail, beer or glass of wine is included with each ticket as well as a luxurious brunch spread featuring vegan and gluten free options prepared by Chef and Speakeasy owner Timothy Baxter. Post class students will also have the opportunity to cast ballots on future class themes and focuses. Super hero or Birthday yoga, anyone? Just talk to Raeni. Want to book the whole class for a friend’s or family outing? We can help. “Hello! My name is Raeni(she/they). I am an RYT200 and Reiki Master. I have been teaching yoga since January 2020. And have over 200 hours of continued education with a high focus in accessibility and social equity. My favorite styles to practice and teach are Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and I also love breathwork. I draw a lot of inspiration from 5 Element Theory and Astrology in my teaching. I am very passionate about making yoga more accessible for marginalized communities and creating space for humans to love honor and feel safe in their bodies regardless of ability or presentation.
