I will be a first time cat owner after having dogs for years. Currently I only have 1 large dog who is 8.5 yrs old. She used to live with her bestie who was a cat. They were separated when the family moved away and I adopted the dog. Looking for: Kitten or an older cat who will love a dog companion. Friendly and not fearful, litter trained. Prefer short-haired over long. Will be indoor only. If the cat is older: -Must be spayed/neutered -Will allow paws to be handled without aggression for trimming nails -Good with scratching its own post or board rather than anything it finds. Will be treated with lots of love and attention. Always have someone home so my furries are hardly ever alone. I know it's long, but I want to make sure I find the right fit. Will take my time to find the right feline. Thanks for reading!
