Short for l’apéritif, l’apéro is a quintessentially French activity, you can’t miss it this Fall! Manon’s art of apéro will invite you to convene for drinks over small plates. It’s around the time of day when shadows get longer and the sun starts to set. Come and meet your neighbors and strangers. Company is what makes it a familial ritual: the day winds down and there’s nothing left to do but have good food and drinks with others. Manon has an eco-sensitive approach to her cooking which can be seen through her use of seasonal and local products. Her italian roots, her upbringing in creole culture and her work in developing countries, taught her the art of making guests from across the world feel at home when they taste her food. And it’s this warm feeling of being Home, that we will entertain this fall through a dinner series at the French Legation in Austin! More info to come.
