The second night of the first annual Cowgirls at The Cowboy, the nation’s only all-female country festival, will feature a co-headline performance from two exciting emerging female artists with full bands. Combining the emotive lyricism and pointed perspective of Taylor Swift with the chill aesthetic and refreshing candor of Kacey Musgraves, and bringing vocals reminiscent of Miranda Lambert’s sass, Carter Faith has been named the “future of the next 10 years of Nashville” by Whiskey Jam. This high praise was recently supported after Spotify claimed Faith on their annual “Hot Country Artist To Watch” list while also including her in their Fresh Finds program – establishing the up-and-comer as the first country artist to ever be a part of this program. The Davidson, North Carolina native taught herself guitar and piano, and soon after began crafting lyrics as a way to make sense of the world around her. Faith, who recently made her Grand Ole Opry debut, has performed around the country, with artists including Cole Swindell, Carly Pearce, Old Dominion, Chris Young, Kip Moore. Faith has garnered more than thirty million streams of her single releases including “The Devil’s Still Down in Georgia,” “Greener Pasture,” “Cowboys & Dreamers,” “Joyride,” and others. She’s also received noteworthy praise from the New York Times, HuffPost, People Magazine, and Billboard among many others. This will mark the third time Jenny Tolman has performed onstage at The Cowboy Bar – and the first time since her triumphant album release party last Spring. “Jackson has become like my second home,” Tolman said, “so my band and I always step it up when we’re there.
