The ACG2022 conference in Charlotte is bringing a diverse assembly of world leaders as well as enthustiastic trainees. This year, the Rainbows in GI team is piloting a wellness event that serves as a new networking opportunity for trainees and junior faculty alike. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SHORT version: - SIgn up for one of 51 spots to do a full body workout on Monday 24th October at 6 AM. - Fill in the survey about your fitness goals and mentorship guests request - Receive instructions on how (and WHEN) to register. This will be either 29$ or free for first time Barry guests. - Come pumped and ready for a full hour session on Monday. - Stay for an informal half hour after the workout to talk to fellows and guest faculty who may (or may not) have joined us for the workout session as well. - Give us your feedback. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LONG version Dear fitness enthusiasts! Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit) This is surely a great ratio of 1:2-3 for trainees to network, wouldn't you say? Now for registration information: 1- If you are no longer able to join, please inform us 2- Barry's Bootcamp registrations open one week in advance at 12 PM (noon). For that, you would need to follow this link www.barrys.com/charlotte-firstclass (NB: DO NOT CLAIM THIS CREDIT UNTIL YOU ARE WITHIN 14 days of your class, or else you will lose it). 5- Find the class on Monday 24th October at 6:10 AM (https://www.barrys.com/schedule/charlotte/), and pick your spot (DF stands for the double floor, and T (start on the treadmill) or F (start on the floor then go to the treadmill) are the standards). As a reminder, 42 spots are standard spots (50% tread, 50% strength training) while 7 spots are Double Floor (100% strength training, omit treadmill portion). All are in one room and you will have a coach guide your workout. Finally, in terms of Transportation, it is either a 30-minute walk or an uber ride (5-min). If you wish to join a group and share a ride, please go to this link and inform us of your hotel address or let us know if you are okay meeting a group at the convention center. We will arrange groups for arranging trips based on those responses.
