1 Year old GSP needs new home

We have a 1 year old German short hair pointer who needs a home. We took him in to turn into a hunting companion but health problems have caused us not to be able to work him. He was started on birds when we got him and has great instincts. He is crate trained, house broken, and knows all basic commands. He is an opportunist when it comes to food, he will steal food if left unattended. He's a great boy but just has way more energy than we can handle now that I am unable to get him the exercise he needs. This breed is very energetic and needs a ton of exercise so please keep that in mind before inquiring. He is not a couch potato and needs more than the occasional walk and run around the yard. Before my issues we did 2 miles as well as several play and training sessions to keep him happy. Asking small rehoming fee. Additional fee if you want his electronic collar and truck box. Also he needs his 1 year shots and not neutered yet. Every one is booked out till January. He also gets along with my kids and other dogs. He does chase chickens and small furry animals.
