Join us for another beautiful partnership with the New Wave Artist- in- Residence Program! Lulu will show various examples and styles of alternative comics. Motivating to narrate personal stories and/or experiment with abstract narrative! About the incredible artist "Lulu": Lulu is an embroidery-based artist whose practice addresses contemporary conditions as she visualizes landscapes and their hidden narratives, each telling a story and revealing banal curiosities that are commonly unnoticed in our daily lives. She started embroidering at the age of 10 after learning her techniques from her grandmother and her growing fascination with narrative art and comic books. Has found storytelling an empowering tool.
