On behalf of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, in partnership with the Detroit Wayne Oakland Tobacco-Free Coalition, we'd like to invite you to join us in a Community Dinner on October 22nd where youth, parents, community organizations will come together to share a meal and dialogue over tobacco use and its impact on the community.
This Community Dinner, held at the Northwest Activity Center, will close out the day-long, youth training program in Detroit as part of the Take Down Tobacco Youth Advocacy Tour, where youth learn skills to take on the tobacco industry and fight for social and health justice.
During the dinner, guests will have an opportunity to learn more about local tobacco prevention efforts and ways in which youth and community members can further engage with the local coalition's campaign to prevent and reduce tobacco use.
This event is FREE and all costs will be covered by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
