Need help with a Grandpa Bear III sood stove

Description

Does anyone have any experience with Fisher Grandpa Bear III wood stoves? I am having trouble getting mine lit and keeping it going after I close the doors. How high of a fire do you need before you shut the doors? How long does it have to burn first? Is there a trick? I have had the fuel lit and closed the doors as instructed in the literature, and the fire goes out and the smoke will not go up the chimney. Or, if I can't get it working to my satisfaction, does anyone know its value? It is in great shape, all the fire bricks are fine, and since it weighs so much it would have to be taken apart to get it upstairs and out of the house, would take into consideration in the price.
