Hi I am a jazz pianist looking for a bassist and a drummer to start a very casual jazz trio. I’m in Media (near Rose Tree Park) and we can rehearse at my house. Would be mostly standards. Open to ideas though. Style ideally would be similar to trios of Bud Powell, Herbie, Chick, Oscar P, etc. Idea is to play occasional local gigs and perhaps record songs from time to time. Not looking for an intense professional grind but would like to sound good and have fun. I’m in my late 30s with kids and not looking to travel far and wide.
