I have a female cockatiel that was a rescue. I have had her for 8 months. Not sure how old she is or if she is really a female but the way she acts around my male ringneck I am pretty sure its a female. When we first got her you could not even go near her. Lots of love later she is awesome. Will step up on your finger or a stick, will fly to sit on your lap, and is just really 100% better than when we got her. She is a little spoiled now. It May take a little for her to get use to someone else. Her wings are not clipped but they were when we got her. They did not do a good job on them plus her nails were really messed up.
